Fork light barriers

Eickmann fork light barriers are based on the principle of the one-way photoelectric sensors, without accepting their principal disadvantages such as high installation and wiring costs as well as alignment problems.

They are available in numerous variants and for typical applications in labeling technology, special machine construction, vibratory conveyors and feeders, medical technology, for paper edge control and speed monitoring u.v.m. designed. They often replace conventional light barriers for smaller ranges and fiber-optic cable devices.

The new laser centre unit OLZ from Eickmann Elektronik is developed for precise detection of a reference point at robot-applications. The open housing allows a fast detection of the reference point without expensive calibrations. For glue and dispensing applications is a needle stripper optional available.
